 Auberge Mendocino has select pet-friendly guest rooms for you and your pet to enjoy!
We can accommodate small and medium sized dogs up to 70 pounds

With two oceanfront state parks bordering our property on the Northern California Coast, you and your dog can walk down to the beach or disappear thru fields full of wild flowers that lead you to the Headlands overlooking the Pacific. The trails along the Headlands provide you and your dog with exercise, wildlife and exceptional natural beauty.

We provide designated walking areas, sheet covers for furniture, a pet towel, waste bags and a dog treat that Jedi (our own pet - pictured above) is willing to share!  Each of our pet-friendly rooms have private entrances, wood burning fireplaces, robes, hair dryers and cable TV with DVD players.  The Merlot Room is also handicap accessible. Room rates include a multi-course candlelight breakfast in our dining room.

There is a 1 time pet fee of $35 per pet per stay.  There is also a $100 refundable security deposit.

• My pet is well mannered and likes to socialize with people and other animals
   
• My pet has up-to-date vaccinations and is free of ticks and fleas
   
• My pet will be by my side and under my supervision at all times. While outside my pet will be leashed or in a carrier
   
• I will not leave my pet unattended in the room unless crated and will remove my pet from the room during housekeeping service times
   
• I will clean up after my pet and dispose of the waste in the designated receptacles provided on the grounds of Auberge Mendocino
   
• I will immediately notify the management of any pet accidents and request special cleaning services
   
• I will make certain my pet is clean and dry by using the towels provided by the Inn before entering the room each day
   
• I agree to promptly remove my pet from the premises if my pet becomes objectionable to any person at the Inn. Early departure policies apply.
   
• I agree to pay expenses incurred because of disturbance caused to another guest by my pet (i.e. barking, whining)
   
• Additionally, I understand I am not to be refunded my pet security deposit if there is any damage caused by my pet during my stay and will be financially responsible for the costs incurred to clean, repair or replace any such damaged items or property.
