Hiking and cycling trails are
abundant. Whatever your interest - birding, beaches, sand
dunes, headlands, fern canyons, logging trails, geological
formations such as the pygmy forest and ecological staircase
or our historical villages you'll get your exercise! Two of
the best guides are The Hiker's Hip Pocket Guide to the
Mendocino Coast and Mendocino Outdoors. Both are available
for your perusal or purchase at the Inn. Many trails are
found in Jackson State Demonstration Forest and area parks.
